RealPagan- Paganism for the Real World

The first issue of our site EZine is now ready for download.  In it you will find articles about the upcoming sabbat, along with crafts and recipes.    The articles are from members of the site, and are featured throughout the EZine.

I will be asking for contribution, and taking ideas about our seasonal EZine.   Next issue will be out before February, Its theme will deal with Imbolc and Lammas, Lughnasadh , for the northern and southern hemisphere celebrations.  You will find references from the various groups, forum and blogs include within the EZines' pages.  Along with seasonal topics, I would like to see herbal and other articles as well.  We are a varied community and I want that reflected by the EZine.

So, contributions for the next issue of Real Pagan Pages , is now opened.  You may submit articles or I will contact members about including discussions that I feel would be of interest to our community.   Any member can contribute to the EZine,  This blog will be the vehicle for submissions, just post a link to the article, blog or discussion and I will be contacting the members as I review each submission.

So, get those seasonal recipes, craft ideas and lore out and polish them up and submit them.   I would like to thank all the contributors that help make this issue possible.   Anything that you feel would be useful to the community will be accepted, along with the seasonal articles.   We have members of various paths and practices that can share with us, also we have wonderful groups that can be featured as well.   We have members that are proficient in herb-lore, and the cunning art.   Various cultures are represented here and this is your EZine to share the wealth of knowledge this site offers.

You may email me or post to my page as well , but I would like to keep all submissions in one locality.    It is easy to reply here and either upload the file or provide the link to were the discussion can be found.   One thing I would like to add is that it is easier for me to handle files in the pdf format.  I am running an older OS and if you create a document in Vista,or Windows 7  I cannot open it.   I can however open PowerPoint files.

Here is the Yule/Litha  issue of RealPagan Pages, enjoy and Blessed Yule and Litha.

Sherry dear, there seems to be a problem with the Ezine link in the Resurces tab (not in this blog). It directs me to the Site Staff group which is.. a dead-end. :\

I got the ezine from this link here but what about the other one?

Thank you, yes, Stef that is entirely what I wanted.   Most of the Sabbats have other religious celebration attached or connected to them.   We see similar celebrations in every culture, that either influenced or honor the same concepts.   Thank you I would be glad to include it in the next issue.

Since it's for Imbolc do you think that a Hellenic festival on the same, more or less dates, would be appropriate? I have written a blog about it HERE.

If you think it helps and it's ok I'd be happy to contribute it. :)
