Hi, I've just joined RP, my belief system is Fyrnsidu, so my mythological interests are Indo-European and of course Anglo-Saxon.

Hello all. I probably haven't introduced myself here, but I love mythology of almost any type. Right now, I want to research Norse in particular, but I love Egyptian and Greek as well. If anyone has good resources, please pass them along. Thanks! Blessings.

Thank you Strata. Very appreciated. I've let my friend know, copied the link to her facebook - hope you don't mind. I'm sure she meant no harm. Probably just thought I'd be interested. BB

MM all,

I'm new to this group and was just wondering if anyone could help me find out if something is true.

I received a text/sms message this morning from a non-pagan friend. The message said to look on my calender as, this year, there are 5 friday's, 5 saturday's and 5 sunday's in july (which is right). That this only happens every 823 years. My friend said that this brings good luck, in terms of gaining money,  and that it is part of a Chinese myth.  I was just wondering if this IS from a myth and if so, is it of Chinese origin.

Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Blessed Be.

Hello all,

I have browsed through and looked at the vast collection of online resources gathered and its a great collection. However, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any books on mythology that I might be able to get on Amazon or at the library, especially Roman and Greek gods and goddesses? Any help would be very appreciated.

Thank you and Blessed Be:)

Does anyone know if they have a book just about Gods? I know they have many that focus just on the Goddess but I haven't come across one just about the Gods?

Thank you and Blessed Be:)
