Hi, I've just joined RP, my belief system is Fyrnsidu, so my mythological interests are Indo-European and of course Anglo-Saxon.
Hello all. I probably haven't introduced myself here, but I love mythology of almost any type. Right now, I want to research Norse in particular, but I love Egyptian and Greek as well. If anyone has good resources, please pass them along. Thanks! Blessings.
Chris, this has been going around the internet for a bit now, and is completely false. Here's info:
MM all,
I'm new to this group and was just wondering if anyone could help me find out if something is true.
I received a text/sms message this morning from a non-pagan friend. The message said to look on my calender as, this year, there are 5 friday's, 5 saturday's and 5 sunday's in july (which is right). That this only happens every 823 years. My friend said that this brings good luck, in terms of gaining money, and that it is part of a Chinese myth. I was just wondering if this IS from a myth and if so, is it of Chinese origin.
Hope someone can help me. Thanks.
Blessed Be.
Moz, try this info here:
Hello all,
I have browsed through and looked at the vast collection of online resources gathered and its a great collection. However, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any books on mythology that I might be able to get on Amazon or at the library, especially Roman and Greek gods and goddesses? Any help would be very appreciated.
Thank you and Blessed Be:)
Happy New Year, everyone, I hope it is wonderful, full of health and love for you all:)
Blessed Be
