Keeping Christ In Our Holiday
As I sit here with my hot cocoa listening to Christmas music during the break in my Christmas movie marathon, I find myself more irritated than usual about my common holiday gripes. I have two main scrooge moments throughout the holiday season that I typically keep quiet because so many of the people I know are on the other sides of the issues. This year, however, I'm granting myself a ranting session.
1. "Those mean Christians stole our holiday!"
Yes, this is…

Dizzy in my head
sounds of whispering all around me
broken glass on the floor
blood drips from my feet
yet I dance in my bloody dress
without a care a second thought
the whispering continues
and I go on
Blood soaked footprints
artisticaly cascade the hall
down to the bedroom
Laying on white sheets
I gaze up at the celiling
counting the tiny specks
laughing Ive lost my mind
blood drips from my feet
onto…

Here's one of those things that I've found in my purging of papers. I have no other information about where I got it from or who wrote it, other than it was written by "Dawn". I've preserved the capitalization and spelling from the way I wrote it down:
January did bring to me
a Key to Unlock the Mystery.
February’s Gales did Bring,
Lore and Learning on the Winds.
March came with other Needs,
rising up with Oestre’s seeds.
April…

On Judgement...
Recently, I have been reading a lot about people saying that they are being judged, they don't mean to be judgmental, stop judging me, you're casting negative judgment, blah blah blah... and it reminded me of a post I made back on the Site That Shall Not Be Named about judgment that is currently missing due to universal implosion. I'ma do my best to reconstruct it here from memory and reason.
We all judge. Every single day, we cast judgments. It's part of our daily…

My family unit and the new year
A lot of changes are happening in my life these days. After a few weeks of searching, I have found a job that is to start the week before Xmas or first week of January. My new bosses are very busy and are not sure when they will best be available to show me everything I need to know before their next trip abroad.
I will be taking on the secretary job again, but this time for a flight training school. My photography studies will keep me busy when I have time to myself, but the…

My Thoughts This Veteran's Day...Remembering When
From Basic Training I had gone to El Paso where I was sent to the specialized training for operating room nurses from December 1968 to May 1969. There were seven of us in my class, and we became quite close during training. Shortly before our graduation our orders came down and all but one of us were on the same set of orders to report to Vietnam on the same date. The one who didn't come down on that set of orders we heard arrived in Nam about six months after the rest of us.
My…

My theory regarding God
All right so, lately, I've been doing some deep thinking as I try to sort out my own philosophical beliefs. It's funny because I'm beginning to touch on issues that I never even bothered to contemplate months before. One of these issues that I've been pondering over is the role of God in the universe-assuming here that there is some sort of "God" or Divine Power in existant. Now, I'm not an Atheist but I'm willing to agree with part of their arguement: There is no evidence that God exists,…
