I would like to hear about people's experiences with withcraft, their first spells and the outcome. How real or how often do spells work, I'd love to hear your experiences and stories. Also, I was pretty much raised in Christianity, I'm use to just "praying or speaking in my mind". Can you do this to the God and Goddess or does it have to be in a formal way? How do you just speak or "pray"? Do you speak on behalf of others or yourself? Forgive me, this is all so new to me but I truly am interested. Thank you for your input!

My dear friend that is good to hear. The weather is really nice during spring and the winters are classic Yule season. Hope you and your son enjoy the area and continue to enjoy long life with good health.

Blessed Be my sister!

Hope, if anything? in my opinion, it could be someone else sending you very bad vibes or a hex. The best defense is to think and feel in all of your being "Love", even in your dream if you can manage to control the direction. Think of the love you receive from your parents or significant other, love protects us from evil.

I think you would love a friend of mine. Her name is Julie. She is an herbalist. She teaches classes in Long Beach, Bellflower and Hollywood. Link- http://www.meetup.com/Green-Wisdom-Herbal-Studies/ You will have to join Meetup.com and then her group. Tell her Catt sent you.

I know a lot of people in Long Beach and Bellflower. I know one couple in Whittier. That's about as close to you as I can get. I lived in Long Beach so most of my contacts are there. Have you been to Pagan Pride? It's in Whittier.

There are times when I wish I was still down in SoCal. This is one of them. I'd love to sit and chat with you over a cup of coffee or herbal tea. I think we have a lot in common. Well, we'll just have to drink cyber tea and chat here.

You will find people who say that about every book ever written. A lot of people say to stay away from Raymond Buckland but I suggest his book Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft to anyone who is just starting out on the Wiccan path. You have to look books over and find what works for you. As they say, ask 13 witches a question and you will get 15 different answers. lol I think there is a lot in Green Witchcraft that is also in Grimoire. I have Green Witchcraft but because the two books are so similar I ended up stuffing it in a box somewhere. If you have one you don't really need the other.

I don't think the Gods you honor have as much to do with your magic as the Tradition you follow does. Those who practice high magick are very different from those of us who practice earth magic. for them there is a lot more pomp and circumstance involved. For me it's more a matter of living in balance with the Earth and using the natural elements around me to help me in my rituals and spells. If I may suggest a couple of books for you to start with? Grimoire for the Green Witch by Ann Moura and The Way of the Hedge Witch by Arin Murphy-Hiscock. Both authors have other books which I've not read yet but these are a good place to start.

LOL Yes the gulls are a noisy lot. Have you ever seen the movie Finding Nemo? After watching the scene where the gulls are all crying 'Mine. Mine.' I went out to listen and sure enough it does sound like they're saying that sometimes. They're bold too. They'll come and steal your sandwich right out of your hand. I prefer the seals and sea otters. Good night love. Sleep well. See you in the morning.
