Welcome one and all. I look foreword to learning and sharing with you all. Let's treat this group as sacred as the subject of death should be of the most holiest endeavors other than actually working with dying, dead and grieving. So please share your knowledge and browse the pages to learn with us. Well met all and blessings to you and yours. As above so below, as with in so without, so mote it be.

For whom the bell tolls a poem (No man is an island) by John Donne

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manner of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

That's wonderful, and really good to hear.

I look forward to your postings and what you have to bring to this group.

I think generally as myself being a spiritually in touch human this is really an important topic for all Pagans, not just spiritually but politically as well. I find that so many individuals who also are very dedicated to the Spirit still neglect this subject even though this is such a major component in religion, and spirituality. After all if we are going to delve into the mysteries of our own existence as human beings shouldn't we be interested if not aware of the mortality of our own life span? Just a thought.

At any rate thank you for joining and be sure to invite others who can benefit from and add to this group.

Please excuse the construction but I'll have the important areas of the construction filled out soon.

As one who has performed requiems in my previous capacity of a priest and one whose collective "path" has a certain dealing with Death on both metaphorical and literal levels, this is definitely up my alley.
