<p>Ok I see the holes now, they look kinda like you added some sparkly do-dads to it. As long as you are using a low temp oil and NEVER NEVER(this is for any one trying this for the first time) use any type of out door torch oil (i.e tikki oil) or Coleman lantern fuel. What you will have if one uses these types of oils or fuel is bomb so never use anything other then low temp lamp oil made to use in your home.</p> <p>Your heat will come from the size of your wick and how close it is to the lid…</p>

Your absolutely right Daniel about using mason jars.  I just didn't have any right off hand, only lots of baby jars.  Which, after burning it for a whole day it went pretty well.  I didn't experience hardly any problems (once I got the 'wick' thing situated) other than the flame going low after some time and needing to pull out some more wick for it to burn longer.  I understand about your storm jars as we had a storm pass through last night and this little guy here actually came in handy.…
