RealPagan- Paganism for the Real World

When i was very young i was in a musical called The Story Telling Man. To this day i remember the lines to a song that touched me deeply even then.

Friend you need a hand,

I understand,

and i'll do what i can.

Cause i know,

how you've been hurt.

I know what it's like,

to be treated like dirt.

Here's my hand,

I understand,

and I'll do what i can, do...what...I...can.

Yesterday i was allowed to help someone push their car. I got to run foreward and hold the door open for several people. I was allowed to pick up the things someone dropped and hand them back. This is who i am.

Friend, here's my hand, and i'll do what i can.

Thank You,

Thomas the Sorcerer of the Blue Rose

Thank you. I can't believe that more people don't put that little bit more into their daily lives. It's easy and only takes a moment. Hold the door for someone, smile as you pass, help the elderly. Today i WILL commit at least one random act of kindness.

I love the way you phrased that. It's such a great honor when the universe presents us with the opportunity to help one another. Why don't we want to take care of each other? It's nice to know some of still do. :)
