I just started reading the section on Brighid by Alexei Kondratiev. It's so inspirational.

There's an excellent book by Judy Harrow called "Devoted to You" that describes in depth how one goes about developing a relationship with a Patron deity and how that relationship might impact your life.  I'd highly recommend it to anyone seeking to better understand how the relationship develops and how to properly honor your Patrons.

@ CEWsony9... well that's the thing about patron deities, the person does not choose them, the gods choose the person. "patron deity" is an often misused term and misunderstood concept among Neopagans. The gods are not here to serve us, they are higher beings we mortals seek to connect with. So don't worry about "picking" one, focus on deciphering what it is that makes you feel interested or drawn to certain deities and things will progress from there.

Eclecticism is quite difficult in that respect. In terms of deities, just remember not all deities play well together especially from different cultures.

I'm still figuring it all out. I just know I love those things enough to incorporate them into my path.
