RealPagan- Paganism for the Real World

You'll need

*1 jam jar
*1/3-1/2 (depends on how potent you want it) dried lavender (blessed lavender=) )
*Raw honey

Fill the jar with lavender, then honey. STIR. As you stir you will release air pockets, allowing you to add more honey.

*As you stir, stir with intent... what do you want this honey to be used for. I often send this honey to friends and family who are feeling stressed and down, with a couple tea bags filled with chamomile.

*Let jar sit ( i let it sit on my kitchen counter, its dark and cool enough) for 2-3 weeks, stirring everyday with your intent.

*Strain lavender out, cheese cloth or, I use sifter. this honey should fit well in a small 8 oz jar.

(alternative)

Fresh rose petals... and you don't need to strain the petals out, they aren't as potent as lavender and can be ingested easily, and very pretty in a cup of tea or toast.

Enjoy

This is lovely I shall make this for breakfast for my friends when we go camping this spring! :)
A note to anyone who made this or is planning on making this; Be extremely cautious when jarring the honey, as it grows certain bacterias very quickly and can cause you to get food poising. It only lasts in the jar about two weeks. I got very sick for mass making these and storing them for months at a time, eating them later on toast. So please friends be careful!!

Definitely have to be cautious when jarring anything! Thanks for the warning Abby!
