Hekate

Orphic Hymn to Hekate

Hekate Einodia, Trioditis [Trivia], lovely dame, of earthly, watery, and celestial frame, sepulchral, in a saffron veil arrayed, pleased with dark ghosts that wander through the shade; Perseis, solitary goddess, hail! The world’s key-bearer, never doomed to fail; in stags rejoicing, huntress, nightly seen, and drawn by bulls, unconquerable queen; Leader, Nymphe, nurse, on mountains wandering, hear the suppliants who with holy rites thy power revere, and to the herdsman with a favouring mind draw near- from http://www.theoi.com

Mystic - Hekate will look into your heart way before She listens to your words. So, I suggest that you focus on what you feel - and raise it, like you would raise energy. Bring your focus in those feelings and raise them and then, send them to Her - She'll receive that and understand it as readily as She would human words. :)

Hello there Elise, my attraction to Hecate is so strong that I worry that my words would not be the right one's. I know deep within that my words could not fully express how my heart truly feels for Her. So these are my fears so I scramble to scarch for the perfect saying fearing that I may displease Her. But like you said; speak from you heart and She will know. Thank you!

Mystic Moonwolf - simply let your heart speak. There are as many rites as there are devotees. The intent is more important than the rite itself. A simple devotion will please Her more than a complicated but shallow ritual. So. Maybe a candle in one of Her traditional colors (black, white, red, or saffron yellow), a bit of incense (myrrh for example), and a text where you express your feelings for Her. The incense can be used as an offering, if you are inclined to do that.

You can also visit http://hekatecovenant.com/ and look at their rituals for inspiration.

I hope that helps! :)

Happy New year!!

May Hekate walk with us on the unfolding paths of the new year, this day is time to make preparation  for the new year, a time of transition, like our goddess.

May Hekate's torch guide us through the new year and guide us down the path of balance and strength.

May we continue to strive to reach our dreams and forever stand in the crossroads of potentiality.

Brightest Blessings
