Prayers for the Dead



Yes in this section we will be posting prayers for the dead. Doesn't matter how long they have been deceased. All these words we offer up in honor of those who have already gone are here to inspire and help others. Perhaps you will find something here for your loved one or an ancestor who has gone before you. Or write your own and post it to help bring words to the mouths of others who can not find the words in their time of grief. Blessed Be. - Slaying Crow (always slaying inner demons)



Prayer of Passage

Oh Goddess
There is great sadness
A cherished one has gone

Emptyness engulfs me
Loss languishes within
Help me bear this grief

Accompany their spirit
Comfort we who grieve
Let us rejoice in their life

May their essence be recorded
In the Great Book of Shadows
Renew our remembrance with joy

I would like to remember my Maternal GrandMa, Maud. 

For ever an inspiration, always in my heart.

I would also like to remember my Paternal GrandMa, May,

such a strong woman, forever in my heart too.

I would also like to remember my Mother-In-Law, Joyce,

so lovely, so missed!

May they rest in Peace. xx

I would also like to remember my beloved Niece, Sarah-Boo, Auntie Mavis, Auntie Pam, my friends Erica and Debs, and a special mention for Garry...like a Brother to me..

I feel your loss more than words can say, and you are all in my heart every day xx
