I use soap nuts - and on the group "Natural Living" Someone posted a great Borax recipe I think?

I don`t know how to make laundry detergent, but I know how to get out most stains before you wash your clothes. Make a paste of baking soda and a little water. At this point, find a soft bristle tooth brush. Next use a cap ful of white distilled vinegar and pour it over the paste. Gently brush the fizzing mixture and let stand for a few minutes. For bad stains, simply repeat the process. Haven`t met a stain that couldn`t be removed.

wellnessmama.com has some great recipes for it. I personally use soap nuts. I buy mine from www.greenvirginproducts.com I have all kinds of natural do it yourself stuff in my blog and posted in my group Spice Goddess here on RP. Best wishes.
