1.What is your practice?
I label myself as Solitary Eclectic Pagan, as of recently anyways. But I incorporate mostly Wiccan beliefs into my spiritual pathway. I label myself this way out of respect to not offend those of “Traditional” Wiccan practices. Meaning I have not been initiated into a coven nor am I planning to seek one out. I feel when people align themselves into a group setting their spiritual enlightenment can only progress to the level of the leader of said group.

2. If you have a magickal name what is it?
I do not have a magickal name.

3. What kind of pets do you have?
I currently live in an apartment building that does not allow pets. However once my husband and I move into our own house we plan or having dogs and cats.

4. What are two things in your kitchen that you couldn't live with out.
My Keurig Coffee pot and my recipe books.

5. Are you married?
Yes, since 2005

6. Do you have children? If so do you include them in your practice?
No we have not been blessed with children yet. I have a medical condition called PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. However once we do finally have children I plan to raise them with knowledge of my spiritual practice but also religious tolerance meaning that they will be respectful of others and their spiritual/religious views. My husband does not go under any one label nor does he practice or make worshiping any deity a priority in his life. We both try to be open minded and tolerant of each other, so I do not think this will be an issue when it comes to raising our children.

7. List one item in your living room that you have made yourself.
One item currently in my living room I’ve made myself is a painting of how I see the Goddess and it makes me feel empowered as a woman each time I view it.

8. What is one item that you have added to your altar recently?
I’ve added two items to my alter recently. They are statues of the God and Goddess. Just representations of the divine. Both are about 3 ½ inches tall and totally black in color.

9. Two random items that are in your fridge?
I keep my synch bags in my fridge after I make them to keep them fresh for future use and I’ve just recently made offering stones.

10. One item in your pantry?
Organic All Purpose Flour

11. Favorite meal to cook?
Anything Pasta

12. Favorite fruit?
Chocolate covered Cherries

13. Favorite Veggie?
Peas – I know weird

14. Favorite workout?
I love walking and being one with nature as well as doing the occasional Zumba on the Wii

15. Favorite color?
My favorite color changes. Sometimes its red, blue, purple, pink, orange, and yellow.

16. What are some of your hobbies?
Reading, Swimming, Shopping, and Sleeping

17. What is your totem/spirit animal?
I haven’t discovered it yet, so I’m not really sure.

18. Favorite show?
One of my favorite shows is Long Island Medium.
19. What are some decorations that relate to your practice around your house?
I do not put up decorations in my home related to my practice due to the fact I’m solitary and my husband does not participate, and some of my family members do not agree with my spiritual pathway. Once we move into a house, I would like to dedicate an entire room to just my sacred space.

20. If you garden what are some things you are growing?
As I currently live in an apartment I do not have a garden, but I do not have a green thumb either so even if I had my own house I doubt I could keep up with one.

21. Favorite Herbs?
Basil and Rosemary

22. Favorite flowers?
Daisies

23. Coffee or tea?
Both, I drink coffee in all forms, but I can only drink tea if its extra sweet and ice cold.

24. DO you collect anything?
I collect seashells, sand, and small rocks or gems.

25. What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?
Read

26. What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Research what you do not understand, and do not take what is presented to you as absolute truth.

30. What is one thing you hope to accomplish with your practice this year?
I hope to learn how to overcome discrimination from my family who do not agree with my spiritual practice as well as learn how to get along with closed-minded people.

It is beautiful thanks for sharing it. I too have PCOS and may be why I can't have kids but I am almost 50 years old. They can do more for it now I think.

Yea, I decided to stop treatment for a while because it was too stressful trying to conceive and nothing happening. I just got back from vacation and going to call and make an appointment again with my doctor soon. Hopefully another 6 months of medication will help me ovulate and become pregnant, if not then its off to the specialist to discuss other options, but at that point Im thinking just adopting would be the best.

Hi all, I'm brand new so I figured I'd join in with this. :)

1. What is your practice?

I've coined the term naturalistic-pantheistic Pagan for myself. Although it's over ten years since I first discovered Paganism, I've only really started getting to grips with a practice that is really true to me in the last year.

 

2. If you have a magickal name what is it?

Nope. Although the "Órga" part of my name is a pseudonym I use within the Pagan community online.

 

3. What kind of pets do you have?

A very fluffy black and white fourteen-year-old cat called Bumble. She lives with my parents, but I go out to visit her (I mean them...) once or twice a week.

 

4. What are two things in your kitchen that you couldn't live with out.

If I'm being really basic - my oven, and my fridge. But I would also say the microwave (primarily for defrosting frozen meals - I live on my own and generally cook more than I need and freeze the rest) and either the grill or the toaster.

 

5. Are you married?

No - but in a long-term relationship.

 

6. Do you have children? If so do you include them in your practice?

Nope.

 

7. List one item in your living room that you have made yourself.

There are currently prayer beads on a bookshelf - I've been working on making ones for different deities.

 

8. What is one item that you have added to your altar recently?

I replaced my purple candle (representing destruction/dark) with a black one, for autumn.

 

9. Two random items that are in your fridge?

Blueberries and cooked chicken.

 

10. One item in your pantry?

My pantry is just a cupboard and a shelf in the kitchen :) but raspberry jam

 

11. Favorite meal to cook?

Beef stroganoff

12. Favorite drink?

I mostly just drink water - probably red wine

 

13. Favorite fruit?

Raspberries or mangoes

 

13. Favorite Veggie?

Avocado

 

14. Favorite workout?

Ballet, or really any dancing. I only took it up in the last year, but I love it!

I don't really have one... maybe red or purple

Writing, reading, playing music

I'm not sure I can pick just one... My guilty pleasure is Vampire Diaries. Favourite recent comedy - Fresh Meat. Favourite all-time... depends on the genre.

 

19. What are some decorations that relate to your practice around your house?

Apart from my altar - one of the only things would be a large decorative plate with a witch on a broomstick painted on it. My parents bought it for me - my birthday is on halloween, and I used to decorate one of the rooms in our house with dozens and dozens of flying witches and other halloween creatures. My dad also used to make me a card every year with witches and pumpkins on it.

 

20. If you garden what are some things you are growing?

I don't have a garden of my own! I do own one plant - a type of potted ivy, which is hard to kill, as my flat doesn't get much light.

21. Favorite Herbs?

Rosemary, sage, mint, lavender

 

22. Favorite flowers?

Roses, fuchsia, and honeysuckle.

 

23. Coffee or tea?

I don't generally take any caffeine, but I do enjoy herbal tea fairly regularly.

 

24. Do you collect anything?

Not really.

 

25. What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?

My time off at the moment is pretty much completely taken up with working on various things I want to try to make money from eventually! But probably photography, or blogging.

 

26. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

To not compromise on my career; to follow my passion.

Europe between the oceans, by Barry Cunliffe. And I'm re-reading the Narnia chronicles, too.

My glasses case.

 

30. What is one thing you hope to accomplish with your practice this year?

To connect more with deities in my practice. I see the gods as archetypes, but I'm very interested in connecting with them more. So far I have had limited interactions with them, mostly utilising their images and names and myths as metaphorical material for my rituals and general practice.

Mab SoulTamer and a few others that are for my circle only.

 

3. What kind of pets do you have?

1 Chihuaua (sp) named Rambo, he's 14 years old. Just lost a lhasa aphsa in March this year, she was 15 years old, her name was Sebastiana and I miss her.

 

4. What are two things in your kitchen that you couldn't live with out.

My good luck hanging witch on a broom. I'm a lousy cook and tend to burn everything. I think she keeps my kitchen from burning.

 

5. Are you married?

Yes and he doesn't mind that I follow a pagan path.

 

6. Do you have children? If so do you include them in your practice?

2 My daughter is the one who got me to look into Wicca and I got hooked. I had been miserable and feeling like something was missing and now I love to study and learn new things about paganism.

Nothing in my living room was made by me.

I added a pendulum and new incense, dragons blood.
