MoonCrone You have to be a true Blessing to your family to take care of all of the things that needs to be done when some one crosses over ..When a family member said You "give good death service" - I think it was a compliment too.. :) I also believe we come back so many times as needed til we have learned all we need to know .. Am praying this is my last time around and I believe I am on my last visit here .. I have a post about Are you a new soul or an old soul .. I will post it here later .. It tells you by way of numbers with your birth date what life you may be on from 1 to 9 :) I was told it was a Druid thing but do not know for sure :) Blessings Bella

Thank you. I have learned something new... about the Isle of Apples.

I have always believed in Summerlands as a Witch, but now, as a Druid, I like that idea of that...

us Druids seem to relate a lot to trees, one way or another, and why not the Apple?

Makes a lot of sense to me if I think about it some more.

My ancestors and dearly departed shrine is a very important part of my path life.

Never a day goes by without I visit there, and remember, and send my love across the veil.

It often becomes the focus of my attention, and I know they are never that far away.

In my family it has become something of a tradition that I am the one who makes all the arrangements when one of our clan is facing or has faced the end of their time on this plane. It seems I am always in the right place at the right time and always know the right thing to do. I think some might call it spirit midwifrey. Like giving last rights, but less religious and more from the heart. A family member once told me I "give good death service" - I hope it was a compliment. I took it to be.

I go to the undertakers and order the caskets, I write all the eulogies, I make the floral tributes myself, I arrange the music to be played, I do all the catering for the wakes, and just ensure the send off gets done in quiet dignified and tasteful style and without incident.

I also arrange the memorial stones, and keep the graves tidy and well tended to. For those who have been cremated and their ashes scattered, I plant something in the garden, or buy something like a statue to remember them by instead.

I do believe we come back again through somebody else, maybe several times over, so we can learn the lessons we need to learn, and only when that process is complete do we really pass for all eternity.
