need some ideas to successfully perform a binding spell.
I couldn't find a black candle..i'm sorry..and i can't do a very big ritual,because i live with my parents and it's not possible for me to find the resources needed for an elaborate ritual.but i really need help in binding someone who can cause me harm.plz help me.thank you.

Your best bet, in both effectiveness and the cause of personal ethics, might be a personal protection spell or a reversal (such as a "mirror spell") as opposed to a binding spell of any sorts...

One thing that doesn't often get brought up about binding spells is that you are forging a connection between yourself and this person...so my first question for you is, if this person is hurting you or has the potential to cause you harm, why would you want to make a long-term connection with this person? Wouldn't you want to get them out of your life or away from you instead?

It should be noted that not all bindings bring about such an effect. Tying someone on a tree doesn't tie you with him. :) However, most "bindings" out there and a practitioner's skill may cause that problem.

The first thing to start with before you go reaching for magic, and especially when it is obvious that you are new to magical workings, is to take mundane steps to protect yourself. If you think someone is trying to harm you have you discussed this with your family? Have you spoken to the police? Do you try to avoid places where this individual might be? And are you really certain this person is out to harm you or could it be that you are reading too much into this situation?
In addition, a spell should always be crafted to fit the specific situation. Frankly we don't know enough about what your situation actually is to be able to speak to your problem.

One all purpose binding spell is to take a candle (any color will do really) scribe the thing you wish to bind (person, situation, etc. etc.), do a binding ritual (one thing is to always have the watchtowers outside your circle, for protection during the binding), then you want to freeze the candle in a glass jar (dont fill the jar to much because water does expand when it freezes). This is just a simple all purpose binding that I have has success with in the past. Though I would seriously consider Larks advise before you do any kind of magical working.

yes it's true i am new to this..i would appreciate any advice that you can give me..and i'll elaborate on my situation..this guy's obsessed about me.I've tried everyway possible to get rid of him.but he keeps calling and messaging throughout the day and he's a member of an influential political party in my city,so he keeps threatening to harm me.
I don't want to bring my parents into this right now.all I want is to expel him from my life,coz he's really hampering my mental peace.and I'm a little scared too,that he might actually harm me.I've even tried to get him to date other girls but he's mad.he threatens me,then starts crying.then abuses.I can't change my phone number right now.
now..do u think binding is a good way for this to be done? frankly i don't want any link with him.if there's another way to achieve this,i'm ready to try that too.

Family and police. Best magic for this situation I'm afraid.
But as said in the posts above, work some protection for your self too.
But remember that the best tool an abuser has, is secrecy, tell others close to you, show them the messages etc. And his power over you will fade, now that's magic.

hmm...I'll try that.so u think the best tool for this should be a pepper spray? :)
And he doesn't threaten in the messages..so i don't have proof..because i never recorded his threats on the phone :(
sorry for sounding stupid about the whole thing though..I was feeling really helpless and thought there should be another way to deal with this....instead of thinking clearly about the whole thing.

I understand exactly what you feel. I am looking for ways to spiritually protect myself from someone but when all is said and done, I know my family and the police will eventually have to help me. Work some magick for yourself, but someone from this site also advised me that the police are best in this situation. I won't buy a handgun, my neighbor suggested to put down the mace and buy some wasp and hornet spray. :) I hope things get better for you!

Well,things worked out fine I guess..the person who was creating problems for me and threatening me,was a part of the ruling political party then.But the party got beaten by a huge amount of votes in the last election,so basically I took the chance and told him to stay away from me.He did disturb me for a week with incessant phone calls from a variety of numbers and text messages.But I think I've got rid of him finally.didn't need magic.Just a bit of luck and some strength on my part :)
