In my last post, I told about how I made Mercury my patron deity. Well a lot has happened in the last few days.First, I am the subject of psychic attack by a certain occult group. Mercury decided to take care of this for me. He had me set up a ritual for the 26th of November, where I reenacted ritually, the defeat of Set by Horus. In the myth, Thoth (Mercury) cast spells on Horus to go out and defeat the forces of Set. The 26th was the day that Mercury went direct from retrograde.I prepared the ritual. Instead of using the Goddess and the God, I used Isis and Osiris. According to some scholars, Osiris dies somewhere between Oct 17th and Nov 26th, and then rises 3 days later. I decided to use the 26th as the day that Osiris rises again. I placed a candle for Ra in between the candles for Isis and Osiris, at the center of the east edge of the altar. Ra is the one who transports Thoth and Horus in his barge over to do battle with Set. I also placed candles for Thoth and Horus.For about three days, I had about the worst time of my life. Mercury was still retrograde, and Osiris had died, and had not yet risen. I was miserable.On the 26th, I began preparations more intently for the ritual. I already had an Icon of Thoth, but I decided to make one for Horus as well. I began to create the icon, and had to let it dry, so I went to sit and take a break. All of a sudden, I am in the presence of Horus. This was in the morning, and the ritual was to take place in the evening. I thought Horus was going to bash my enemies to smithereens, but instead he tells me to hold, and then has me play two songs by the band Collective Soul. These two songs are not really ones that I enjoy usually. The first song was called Gel. Horus tells my enemies that we could just Gel, and they could stop what they are doing, and we could just hang out. Apparently, this was not acceptable to my enemies, so Horus has me play the song Precious Declaration. The chorus is as follows:Precious Declaration readsYours is yours and mine you leave alone nowPrecious Declaration saysI believe all hope is gone no longerThere is Horus, facing his enemies, declaring to them that they are to back off and leave me alone. He also tells me to never be like those people and give up all hope. My enemies apparently decide that they are not going to listen to Horus, that he is unreal or something, and so I went forward with the ritual.In the ritual, I beseech Thoth to empower Horus to overcome my enemies (I did not ask him to kill them. I am trying to honor the Rede as much as possible and still defend myself) Then I read the final part of the Horus myth that praises Horus very loudly, proclaiming his majesty. I sent the energy.I didn't experiencing much happening, but a couple of days later Mercury has me do a ritual. He is considered to be the elements of air and water, but we were in Sagittarius which is fire, which is fine for Horus because he is fire, and also a hunter, which is Sagittarian. Mercury is in detriment in Sagittarius, but Mercury shows me something. Sagittarius and Mercury have an incredible number of shared principles. Why is it his detriment? Then Mercury "seemed" to show me that while things like learning, travel, etc. are "conventional" and Jupiterian in Sagittarius, these principles in him can be "unorthodox" or "unconvential". Sagittarius can be seen as somewhat exoteric spiritually, while Mercury is esoteric. In the ritual, I put Mercury into Sagittarius "unorthodox". Mercury also showed me something else. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun, and is also the hottest planet, with temperatures at around 500 degrees. Mercury, in certain contexts can be FIRE, as well as air and water. In the ritual, I used Peppermint and Fennel as part of my incense, which Cunninham says are both Mercury and fire!Then my enemies started to have problems and started to fall, and they still are. Mercury was ON FIRE and Horus was on the HUNT! What we had was a Mercury slingshot!"They harpoon is of metal, the shaft is of the sycomore of the desert, the net is woven by Hathor of the Roses.
