Ooh, teach me too! I learned how to make goat milk soap with coconut and palm oils and lye at a local festival. Although the lady assured me that the lye basically evaporates out of the soap after you let it sit for a while, I'm a little nervous about using such a harsh chemical and was wondering if there were more natural recipes that were as easy as that process.

Makoons I just posted a discussion about soap making that sounded easy for me to understand :) I can't find lye in any store any more around here but have not tried a little hard ware store I have close by ..Might have to order it on the net ..  But this helped me to understand how to do it :) Blessings Bella )0(

I would love to know your recipe for soap! I've tried to make soap in the past and it was NOT good, nor was it easy.

Made homemade soap for the first time a few nights ago. I made lavender, and oatmeal. I think next week I am going to make ylang ylang and rosemary mint. I will post a few pics soon. I hope all of you are well. I recently created a new group on here called: The Witchy Wives Club. Check it out and join if you like.

I think that  sometimes when you are in a bind and don't have exactly what you need it is all about intention. Kind of like how you can sub a white candle in the place of the appropriate color. Best of luck to you in getting a job.
