Ok so heres the tale of thrifty Im so proud of........

less than two weeks ago a life long friend of my boys popped up and told me she was getting married this weekend. The wedding due to dire finances was to be held in her back yard ,her gown a white sundress. She wanted me to make her wedding bouquet, head dresses for her and her daughter and something for her daughter to carry flowers in."Pleeeease Moma your things are always sooooo pretty"Then she hands me 15.00!

So off I go to the dollar tree (where everythings a buck),I pulled through the silk flowers, bought head bands for bases and found a nice wire basket shoved to the back of a shelf. This is what I made.

The flower basket I decorated with strings of plastic"crystal beads" left over from Yule, silk flowers and a Butterfly.

The headbands were matching except the Butterfly is on the brides band ,her daughter carries the basket with the butterfly.

Her bouquet came from my garden the contents are.......

Wheat ,Mock Orange ,Iris,Bluebells and Photinia

I wrapped the stems withblue sueded yarn  left over from another project and the last of the beads.

               Total cost 12.00 ;)
