I finally made these energy bites that I had been craving. I truly love each ingredient in these bites and the recipe is a bit customizable. :) so here they are!
What you need:
3/4 cup oats
5 Tbs ground flax
2 Tbs Chia seeds
2 Tbs powdered coco
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 Tbs shredded coconut
4 Tbs unfiltered organic local honey
6 Tbs nut butter

Add dry ingredients to a large bowl then add wet ingredients. With a rubber spatula incorporate everything together. Roll into balls and store in a clean separate container in the fridge. Once in the fridge for about an hour the balls will become less sticky and easier to eat bit if you are like me you will ear 1 or 2 before this.
You can also add spirulina, mini chocolate chips or chopped fruit or nuts.ive often thought of adding mashed bananas to this.
