I love to knit, spin yarn, weave, crochet, sewing, any type of needle work, wood carving.. lol, for the most part, if it can be made I love giving it a try! Ive tried a little bit of everything at one time or other. However the one thing that seems to escape me is being able to draw.. lol, I guess you cant do everything:)
many and bright blessings,
Bre

Hi! i've been making most of my gifts this year for Yule. Some include crocheted eye glasses cases, a guitar strap, ipod cozies with beaded initials, scarves and I'm still in the process of making the rest LOL.. will post pictures as soon as everything is finished ;)

Me too Dsuyentor. I have herbal aftershave aging in the garage for all the men on my list and am almost finished with a purse made with plarn for my DIL Next I'll make a scarf and hat for my room mate. I have to go get the wool first though. I want Alpaca wool if I can find it. I also made a cape for my 2 year old grandson. He loves playing super hero. LOL I'll take pictures and post them when I get everything finished.

Does anyone here make candles?  I'm debating trying to do so, but before I do I thought i'd like to talk to people who do so :)  Going to try a friend on facebook as well, but I thought I'd put it out to the group?

Has anyone used the new soy based yarn?  I saw an ad for it in my latest knit mag and am curious if anyone has tried it...

I'd be interested to hear any reports on it myself. I just saw it online the other day and wondered about it. I can't use wool because I'm allergic. I don't like the 'feel' of synthetics and Alpaca is expensive so I would love to hear about soy yarn.
